   ABLM Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for examination can only be established by the Board at a regular or special meeting, upon recommendation by the Credentials Committee, after review of the completed application.

   ABLM General Requirements

All applicants must:

  1. Have a degree in medicine (MD or DO) and a degree in law (JD).
  2. Have current valid licenses to practice medicine or to practice law. An applicant’s good standing licenses may be inactive.
  3. Provide contact information for license and degree verification.
  4. Present evidence acceptable to the Board of high ethical and professional standing and good moral character

   ABLM Degrees, Licenses & Registration

The applicant must provide the graduate degrees held along with the names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses of the registrar’s office at the respective educational institutions. The applicant must include copies of all licenses held with a reference to good standing with local, state, and national licensing regulatory authorities and certifying bodies. The applicant must provide contact information, i.e., names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses of these licensing bodies.

Curriculum Vitae – The applicant must include a current, signed and dated CV, affirming that the information contained in the CV is truthful and current.
